A huge thank you
to everyone who responded to the informal consultation of the DRAFT Summary NDP. Of the 308 copies sent out to our households, we received 70 responses.
The independent planning consultant has told us that this is an excellent response, so once again, thank you.
The consultant has analysed your responses, and collated them so they appear beside the relevant part of the document. Please take time to view the report to see how your comments have impacted on the final Draft Plan.

Please note that the full final Draft plan (101 pages), and its appendix, the Design Guide, will shortly be available for the official “Regulation 14 Public Consultation” at which point you will have a final chance to comment prior to the scrutineering to be undertaken by Herefordshire Council.

The 6 week Regulation 14 consultation period will begin in late January; and the final Draft and Design Guide will be available to you on our website, and as hard copies in
- St Peter’s Church Dormington,
- St Nicholas Church Checkley,
- Mordiford CE Primary School, and
- The Moon Inn public house Mordiford.
Response forms for the official Regulation 14 consultation
These will be available on our website, and hard copies of the same will be available with the Draft Plan and Design Guide, at the public buildings listed above. We will send you a reminder in January, that the consultation period is beginning and where to find the documents and forms.
Drop-in Event
There will also be a drop-in at the School one evening early in March for you to look at the guides, make comments, complete response forms, talk to the consultant and the Steering Group.
